Make your Mass intention reservations in person at the parish office or by phone (with a credit/debit card) during regular business hours.
Here are some guidelines to keep in mind when preparing your proposed intentions for the new calendar year:
· At this time only registered, active Queens parishioners may obtain intentions. Those from other parishes may do so at a later time if any are available.
· A family may obtain one Sunday Mass intention and two daily intentions until more become available.
· The Saturday 5 p.m. Masses are saved for recent deaths and special occasions.
· Intentions for the deceased will be given pride of place, saving intentions for the living until a later date if Masses remain available.
· It is advisable for families to group deceased family members together (example “John and Jane Smith and son, James,” OR “The deceased members of the MacDonald family”).
· Consider enrolling in Queen of the Miraculous Medal Memorial Association. These memorial intentions will be applied twice every month: One Sunday and one Wednesday 6 p.m. Mass.
· Fr. Tim’s brother Fr. Adam and his fellow Divine Word Missionaries stand at the ready to receive stipends for Masses in the missions, as do the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales. Our office can help facilitate setting those up for you. This works especially well for those with sizable requests and Memorial Mass requests that come in after funerals.
