Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion aid the priest in distributing communion during Masses. Most often help is needed at the Saturday vigil and Sunday Masses. Since the onset of Covid, only the precious Body has been distributed. This will change as the pandemic wanes. Typically at a Sunday liturgy there is a need of six ministers. Ministers have the opportunity each quarter to indicate their preference for a specific Mass or Masses for the upcoming quarter. Training is offered and required for this ministry.
