BeFrienders

BeFrienders (volunteer lay ministers) provide pastoral care to people in difficult and transitional situations, such as illness, loneliness, or loss of a loved one. they embody the caring presence of God and of the parish community and serve as a living reminder of God’s love. They are invited by the BeFriended to visit-bringing emotional and spiritual support. Special training takes place on site at Queens. Confidentiality is highly honored and support for BeFrienderss Ministry is ongoing.
