They’re at it again! Please disregard any message you receive from priestp72@gmail.com or a text or call from a 507 area code pretending to be me.
Scammers go through parish bulletins and websites looking for names and contact information of parishioners and then send these fake messages pretending to be me asking for help and/or gift cards.
My official email address is the only email address I use:
frtim@queenschurch.com
If the message is not from that address it is not from me.
You should not open it, not respond to it, nor interact with the sender. Report it as junk, spam, or phishing.
There is no way for me to prevent people from doing this in my name. I can only ask that you use your best judgment and common sense. If it seems odd or fake, it probably is.
I apologize for the inconvenience this causes. It is a source of great frustration.
