This a big weekend at Queens as we start our new Mass schedule as part of a revamping of the Masses offered across the city.  We have done our best to prepare you for the change and remind you when it begins.  Now is the time.  If you are a creature of habit, please plan ahead and double check that plan so you don’t show up late for a 10:30 Mass or early for a noon Mass that won’t be happening.

Here is the weekend schedule that starts tomorrow:

QUEENS NEW WEEKEND MASS SCHEDULE . . .

Saturday …….3:30 Confessions, followed by 5pm Mass

Sunday………..7:30am, 9:00am and 11:00am*

*the new 11am Mass time replaces the 10:30 and Noon

The 11:00am Mass will be Livestreamed

This week’s Summer Vacation Bible School will impact the daily Mass schedule.  The 9am Masses on Monday July 8 and Friday July 12 will move to 8am.  The other days will not change.

QUEENS SUMMER
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
JULY 8 – 12,
9AM – 12:15PM

There are 125 kids enrolled, 22 of them are preschoolers, and we expect the help of 70 volunteers!  This looks to be another great week for the young people of our parish.  Thank you to everyone who has stepped forward to help with this monumental undertaking.

VBS is open to children in pre-school thru grade 6.  It runs Monday to Friday 9am – 12:15pm each day.  A free luncheon party will be held outdoors on the last day.

Use the link below to register your children.  You can also register at the door on Monday morning.

ATTENTION ALL VBS
PARTICIPANTS AND VOLUNTEERS

VBS T-shirts are in and ready for pick up prior to the start of VBS.  Thanks to Jon Roty, Queens parishioner, and owner of Lily Pad Graphics in Jackson, for helping with these year after year.

IF you are already signed up to attend VBS as a participant OR a youth or adult volunteer, stop by Vincentian Hall after any Mass this weekend and look for the shirt with your name on it.  They will be arranged alphabetically by size.

SPREADING GOD’S WORD BEHIND BARS

TRUTH, BEAUTY AND GOODNESS ARE FOUND IN GOD, IN HIS MERCY, AND IN THE ONE, HOLY, CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH FOUNDED BY HIS SON

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teaching” (Heb 13:8-9).
