PENTECOST SUNDAY – THE BIRTHDAY OF THE  CHURCH

COME HOLY SPIRIT.  RENEW THE FACE OF THE EARTH

Join us in person for Mass this weekend as we pray for a new Pentecost and a fresh outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit upon our Church and the world.   Without the Holy Spirit, there would be no Church, no Bible and no Believers.  With the Holy Spirit, the Gospel has been, is being, and will be preached to the ends of the earth!

To help all of our parish family to grow in the their faith, we invite you to browse the FREE BOOK collection by the elevator after Mass this weekend.  Everything is free but we have a strict NO RETURN policy.  Whatever you take, you can’t bring back!

SAVE THE DATE

Now that school is almost over, it is time to plan summer schedules.  Vacation Bible School has been a great way to break up the summer for families and to get the kids out of the house.  This year, Queens features an out of this world adventure with Stellar, VBS 2023.  This will take place here at Queens July 10-14, 9am to noon each day.  Mark your calendars, save the dates and get the kids registered now to help us plan for a wonderful week of prayer, games, music and fun with the children of the parish.  You can sign up using the form in this weekend’s bulletin.  Online registrations can be made right here.

LADIES LOVE DISCOUNTS

The 2023 Michigan Catholic Women’s Conference will be held at the Lansing Center on Saturday October 21, 2023.  The featured speaker will be Lisa Brenninkmeyer, the founder of the Walking With Purpose Women’s Bible Study series.  Those who register by May 31st can get the Early Bird Discount.

EUCHARIST – SOURCE AND SUMMIT

HARD TO FILL CHAPEL HOURS:  As the Queens Divine Mercy Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel celebrates its 30th Anniversary in 2023, it would be wonderful if some new adorers would step up to make long term commitments.   The overnight hours are always the hardest to fill with Monday 1am and 2am being our biggest holes in the schedule right now.  Volunteers can contact Jeannette:  jlienhart@queenschurch.com.

CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION JUNE 11:  Please read about this event in the bulletin and consider attending.

Fr. Tim MacDonald

Pastor

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
