Altar Servers are an essential ministry during all liturgies. Most often servers are from the youth of our parish. Servers need to be in at least the 4th grade to participate. Training is provided and required. Servers can be from Queens School, public school, or homeschool. Preference sheets are sent to each server in advance, and a schedule is assigned quarterly. Servers are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes before Mass to vest in an alb and to be given any special directions for the liturgy that day.
