I have been a lifelong parishioner at Queens, having been baptized here and attending Queens, JCMS, and Lumen Christi. My husband Nick and I were married at Queens in 2000, and we have three children— Conor, Alexa, and Carson, all of whom have attended Catholic schools. I’ve worked for the Jackson County Health Department for 26 years and currently serve as the Coordinator of Health Education Programming.

Parish Involvement: Weekly adorer in the Adoration Chapel and most currently, Pastoral Council Member At- Large. I also enjoy volunteering for various Church activities.

Favorite Bible Verse: Proverbs 31:25- “Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.”

My hope for the future:  Queens has always been a place I’ve called home, and I hope it continues to be that for others, especially our younger members. While it’s fun to travel and visit other churches, there’s something truly special about returning to the familiarity of Queens. Fr. Tim has been a wonderful pastor and leader, and I’m hopeful that the young people of our parish will continue to find a strong sense of belonging here and proudly call Queens their spiritual home.
